The Names of God Reveal His Heart

In Scripture, a name is never merely a label — it is a revelation. When God reveals His name, He is unveiling His nature, His covenant promises, and His relationship with His people. Each name of God is a window into who He is and how He moves in the lives of those who trust Him.

From Elohim, the mighty Creator who spoke the universe into existence, to Abba Father, the tender, intimate name Jesus taught us to use in prayer — every name carries weight, history, and transforming power. To know God’s names is to know God more fully.

Studying the names of God strengthens faith because it anchors us in truth. When anxiety rises, we remember Jehovah Shalom — the Lord is our peace. When provision seems impossible, we recall Jehovah Jireh — the Lord will provide. When we feel unseen, we rest in El Roi — the God who sees us.
